Having spent 3 days of drinking coconut juice (at least 3 a day), admiring magnificent sunsets, eating lots of fish, checking out waterfalls, old rusty locomotives and old French era buildings that look like they're about to fall down any day now and bicycling around the lazy island of Don Khon.... we had simply had too much activity and needed to find a place to relax a bit more (after all, Laos is supposed to be laid back). So 1 day and 5 different types of transport later (longboat to VIP minibus (which was truly too good to be true) to local bus (that had everything from a motorcycle, to big bags of live chickens and multiple big bags of charcoal loaded on and off it) to local minibus) we've now arrived in Savannakhet.
Vad kul att lasa din blogg.
