Last weekend I decided it was time to lose my temple virginity and headed out to see two of the more obscure temples as well as the most popular sunset point... the first two were eerie, beautiful and magical, the latter was a mistake. However, the beauty of this place is that there are so so many temples spread out within an hours tuk-tuk ride from Siem Reap that you can actually find spots that are not spoilt with tourists and I've quickly realised that's the way I will be going about my temple visits from now on. The pics show some of the madness around sunset... Been there, done that, from now on I'm going far away, in the middle of the day or just after sunrise (when the busloads are off having breakfast).
