Goodness me, it's hard work getting all the sights in, but I sure did my best today. All in, I managed to see the Iswari Minar (Heaven-Piercing Minaret), the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), an 11km rickety autoriksha ride up to Jaigarh Fort on top of the "Mound of Eagles" and Amber Fort. Aren't the names just wonderful. I wish we could have similarly colorful names at home. I would have called mum and dads place in Vik, "Hut of Peace and Quiet" and my 5-floors-below-ground gym "The Hell-Piercing Hole". All in, the sights were so great that I'm gonna have to do more than one post today. I basically opened up the Iswari Minar, and had to chase the pigeons all the way up to the top, and then down again. The view was worth it, sort of...
