... or the Four-Faced temple was the coolest of the Jain temples. Its a massive marble building, with a maze of 29 halls that are supported by, what looks like a forest, of 1444 pillars of which no two are alike. It was a great place to just wonder in, and again, I was sharing it with only a few Indian tourists. All in I spent 8 hours in a car, on pretty sh!tty roads, to see these two sights, but it was well worth it. The roads are a sight in themselves. The trucks are beautifully painted, the villagers are going about their lives, the cattle has nowhere better to be than on the roads, everywhere and all the time and asking for directions is utterly hilarious (the driver trusts noone - rightly so - so we stop 3 or 4 times to really really make sure we're going the right direction and every other time we're getting different answers).
