A big fat Vietnamese wedding

It seems that weddings in Vietnam is a massive affair and the young brides and grooms take over the cities on Sundays with their photo shoots and wedding parties. We must have run into about 20+ of them by now and its great to check out their different creations, photo crews and entourage. And to top it all off there was a big wedding party at our hotel last night and as the bride and groom entered onto a stage in front of the 270 guests, it felt like we were watching the moment in a game show when someone wins one miiiiiillion dollars (smoke machines, glittery things being shot out from various directions, balloons being released towards the sky, a live singer on stage with them etc etc). Quite a sight.
