And it's proven to be 1/ a real little jewel by the ocean - not too exploited, but enough creature comforts, 2/ an utter kite-surfers paradise (AND the 11th annual Mui Ne windsurfing cup is currently on) and 3/ a Russian charter destination nr 1 (say what?!). All in, we're loving it here... they sell coconuts on the beach for $1, the wind makes it not so terribly hot in the sun, you can walk in either direction on the beach for a very long time and still not get to the end, there's a great flat lawn in between our bungalow and the water where we get to do yoga in the morning, we fall asleep and wake up hearing the waves of the ocean and the food's not too shabby.
